SUM Consignment Guidelines:
I am interested in consigning SUM clothes, shoes, bags and/or accessories. What kind of condition should they be in?
Items must be in-season and in excellent condition: New or “Like New.”
Items must be in shopping bags, baskets, bins, or on hangers. (No garbage bags or grocery bags, please.)
Items must be freshly laundered. (No funky smells like smoke, mildew or perfume. Ew.)
Items must be wrinkle free and ready to hit the sales floor.
Items must be free of stains, rips, tears, or names written on the tags. Please pre-screen!
How many items can I bring, what sizes do you take, and how do I make an appointment?
We feature items starting at a Size XS - All Ladies Sizes. (Think Middle School through Menopause...)
We look at a MAXIMUM of 30 pieces per person.
We are currently setting up appointments for Spring/Summer Items, Athleisure Wear and All-Year-Round items (like Sweats, Sweatshirts, Tees and Jeans) for Women + Teens!

Am I allowed to whine, cry, argue, negotiate or be mean if you don’t take an item I bring in for consignment?
Nope
Does Sum Girls Boutique take wedding dresses, prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, maternity, real fur items or knock-off handbags/shoes?
Nope
If you accept my items, how long will they be on the sales floor, and what happens if they don't sell within the consignment period?
Items will be on the floor for at least 60 days. If any items don't sell within that time period and they are not re-consigned by us, they will donated to our very special charity partner: The Charles R. Drew Transition Center in Detroit. The Drew Transition Center is a farm-to-school program and work-based facility helping 18-26 year old mentally/physically challenged adults find their place in this world. Because of the items we donate, they have started their very own Drew Boutique at the facility where students are learning daily living skills that may lead to employment and community inclusion.
If you have a very special, high end, LUXURY item you prefer we don’t donate, please bring it to our attention.
How do I get my money, money, money?
Consignors will receive 40% of the final selling price on consigned items. When your items sell, your percentage will go directly into your account. For balances over $20, payment by check is available, upon request, by emailing us at SumGirlsBoutique@gmail.com, We mail checks out once a month, or you can leave the money in your account to shop with at Sum Girls Boutique!
It’s my first time consigning with Sum Girls Boutique, do I need to sign a Consignment Agreement?

Do you have an online store?
We don't! A big part of Sum Girls is the actual experience of coming to shop with us - so grab a friend, your daughter, your mom, or take SUM “Me-Time” for yourself! Just Come Get SUM!
Is parking free?
Yeah, baby! Free parking in the front and back of the shoppe!
