Am I allowed to whine, cry, argue, negotiate or be mean if you don’t take an item I bring in for consignment?

Does Sum Girls Boutique take wedding dresses, prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, maternity, real fur items or knock-off handbags?

If you accept my items, how long will they be on the sales floor, and what happens if they don't sell within the consignment period?

Items will be on the floor for at least 60 days. If any items don't sell within that time period and they are not re-consigned by us, they will donated to our very special charity partner: The Charles R. Drew Transition Center in Detroit. The Drew Transition Center is a farm-to-school program and work-based facility helping 18-26 year old mentally/physically challenged adults find their place in this world. Because of the items we donate, they have started their very own Drew Boutique at the facility where students are learning daily living skills that may lead to employment and community inclusion.

If you have a special, high end item you prefer we don’t donate, please bring it to our attention.

How do I get my money, money, money?

Consignors will receive 40% of the final selling price on consigned items. When your items sell, your percentage will go directly into your account. For balances over $20, payment by check is available, upon request, by emailing us at, or you can leave the money in your account to shop with at Sum Girls Boutique!

It’s my first time consigning with Sum Girls Boutique, do I need to sign a Consignment Agreement?

Yep! Click Here for our Consignment Agreement

Do you have an online store?

We don't! We tried, but hardly anyone was buying off the site. It seems a big part of Sum Girls is the actual experience of coming to shop with us and that makes us very happy.

Is parking free?

Yeah, baby! Free parking in the front and back of the shoppe!

Now let’s have SUM fun!
